After having proven it's worth on the road, the classic Trek Émonda is refreshed with all-new aerodynamically efficient tube shapes, updated geometry and lighter weight for a faster bike, everywhere.
The updated Émonda now features KVF Aerodynamic tube shapes along the head tube, down tube and seat stays, while keeping it's super lightweight climbing-oriented design. Integrated cables make everything cleaner than ever, and perhaps most notable, Trek's H1.5 geometry means any rider can have the most efficient riding, at every pricepoint.
Built from 500 OCLV Carbon, the Emonda SL 7 Disc eTap features the Pro-level Sram Force AXS eTap 12 speed electronic wireless groupset, with hydraulic disc brakes for maximal braking power and efficiency in downhill and rainy situations. Unique to Sram's 12 speed road groupsets, the included gear ratios are unconventional yet optimal considering the 10 tooth cog on the cassette and wide gear range. The crankset is 48-35 with a 10-33 cassette, for a race ready and versatile gear range. Not to mention the integrated Quarq power meter, which is arguably the best and most precise dual sided power meter on the market.
New for 2021, are the Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 wheels, which combine all the best of the entire Aeolus series, at a competitive price point. The 37 mm rim depth is both aerodynamic and lightweight, with a stable rim profile and stiff rim, paired with DT Swiss 350 hubs and a 21 mm inner width for great performance and versatility.
