The Fluid 2 is a trainer that has been on the market for many years, but still proves to be relevant. One of the only trainers remaining that is equipped with a fluid resistance unit, it offers a progressive power curve which provides exponential resistance - simply put, the faster you pedal, the harder it will feel. This means that your gears essentially become your resistance control.
The Fluid 2 version has an improved flywheel and fluid unit for a more realistic and efficient operation. The integrated fan cools down the resistance unit while pedaling, keeping the ride feel consistent. A clutch knob on the backside which ensures a consistent setup when taking the bike on/off the trainer.
This is the Smart version. What makes this trainer Smart is the inclusion of Saris' speed/cadence programmable sensor, which allows for communication of riding data to a third party software. However, note that this does not make the trainer ''interactive'' where the resistance is controlled by software. For more information on this topic, check out our BLOG section.
