404 NSW Wheel

With its new design, the 404 NSW is less affected by crosswinds than the previous 404. Zipp reworked the dimpled rim of NSW to enable it to be more aerodynamic. The wheel looks pretty similar to the regular 404, but it was designed to reduce and diminish how crosswinds affect the ride. So you won't be limited by this wheelset. At 1550 grams the pair, the NSW 404 are also 140g lighter than 404s Firecrest. Zipp has again increased the yield of their wheels. Their low weight and better ride quality solve problems that Zipp had with previous models. The 404 NSW are also laterally stiffer, allowing the experienced cyclist to get better performance during his sprint. If you have to drive on a flat or slightly hilly terrain or with a headwind, the 404 NSW will give you better performance. In addition, they have the same excellent ride quality and braking than other models at Zipp.
