Direto XR-T + Sterzo Smart Bundle

Just when you thought the Direto couldn't get any better, Elite have once again stepped up their game to deliver their new flagship direct drive trainer : the Direto XR.

For 2021, the Direto XR now climbs up to 24% (previously 18%) in maximal gradient, has a heavier 5.1kg/11.2lbs flywheel (previously 4.2kg/9.2lbs).

Aside from these hardware upgrades, a few tweaks to the ERG mode algorithm make it more responsive and the trainer now comes with a 1-month free Zwift subscription. The Direto XR is one of the most powerful trainers on the market, with a maximum resistance of 2300w, measured by an actual integrated Power Meter, rated at 1.5% accuracy. The trainer communicates via ANT+/BLE and supports all the standard axle sizes out of the box (130x5mm, 135x5mm, 142x12mm, 135×10-12mm & 148x12mm).

Thanks to the Elite Upgrado app, you can now access these new features :

• Easy Start mode : In high-wattage ERG mode, a pause in pedaling triggers auto-reset of resistance. This quick reset allows you to resume your interval, regain your cadence, and return to your chosen resistance level effortlessly.
• Bridge Cardio and Bridge Cadence Functions : Link your heart rate monitor or cadence sensor directly to your smart trainer while using training software. Your trainer serves as a bridge, collecting data from these sensors and transmitting it to the software, a useful solution for platforms like Apple TV limited to two Bluetooth® Smart sensors simultaneously.
• Swift Supertuck : With Swift Supertuck, your smart trainer resets power data when pedaling stops. Zwift swiftly identifies pedal inactivity, enabling an immediate activation of the supertuck* aerodynamic position for your avatar.
• Improved ERG Mode Brake Management : Direto XR and Direto XR-T owners benefit from this feature, ensuring optimal power data stability in ERG mode. The brake response is precisely synchronized with the software, eliminating any fluctuations, allowing you to instantly achieve your desired power.
• Power Smoothing : Enable this feature on your Direto XR and Direto XR-T for seamless power data visualization in ERG and Simulation modes. You can select from four data display levels, tailoring the graph's adjustment and smoothing to your preferences.
