The Vento Infinito Knit Carbon 2 Wide Shoe is the wide version of the classic Vento model. It is designed for cyclists with wider feet. The shoe provides higher volume fit with more room at the forefoot around the ball of the foot and metatarsals.
Its knitted construction molds to your foot for confort like you have never experienced before. It also allows superior ventilation throughout the upper and its streamlined design allows a lighter weight than ever before. Blended with heat-fused TPU yarn in targeted areas, it enhance support where you need it the most. This guarantees effective power transfer to the pedals with the same support and pedaling efficiency as that of a traditionally built cycling shoe.
The Volume Control system perfectly adapts to the different shapes of the foot by allowing to separately adjust the instep and forefoot areas. The new Li2 BOA Fit system features a smaller dial diameter and lower, more aerodynamic profile, for a more precise fit without compromising comfort nor performance.
The Infinito strap wraps around the plantar arch and can be precisely adjusted for a perfect fit and improved support of the plantar fascia. It also helps eliminate pressure points and tension while providing better support.
The new carbon fibre outsole helps save weight while increasing stiffness for maximum power transfer. With a stiffness index rating of 10, this outsole is the stiffest in the fizik range. The outsole also includes small vents for a cooling airflow, aiding in temperature regulation.
The cleat positioning is set slightly further back compared to traditional settings to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression, especially well-suited to very aggressive, forward aero positions.
