Slash 8 | 2023

Trek's Slash is an Enduro-specific bike with 29'' wheels. It is designed to take big hits, descend at high speeds yet still climb somewhat well. This newest version has a few key updates that make it even more of a pillar in it's category. The slightly longer suspension, with a 170 mm fork and 160 mm rear suspension, paired with a longer reach, slacker head tube, and lower bottom bracket give it extra stability, while a 2-degree steeper seat angle and lightweight frame make climbing surprisingly easy for such a big bike.

The Slash 8 build is made from an Alpha Aluminium frame with Sram's mid-tier GX groupset. The kit is topped off with SRAM Code R hydraulic disc brakes and RockShox ZEB Select / Super Deluxe Select+ suspension.
