The DHR II tire features side knobs inspired by the renowned Minion DHF, but with a wider design for enhanced support and improved cornering ability. Its center tread has ramped edges for better acceleration and sipes for smooth bike leaning. The paddle-shaped knobs on the center dig in during hard braking, providing better control. For the ultimate aggressive trail riding experience, match it with a Minion DHF tire on the front.

This version features Maxxis' 3C MaxxGrip technology, which is designed to provide the highest possible level of traction in a mountain bike tire, using the slowest rebounding rubber available. This high-traction compound is now available in various casing configurations to cater to every type of rider. In this particular tire, it is combined with a DD casing, making it perfect for enduro races and e-bike trail riding. The DD casing consists of two layers of lightweight 120 TPI casing material and a butyl sidewall insert that make the tire highly durable with increased trail feedback compared to a Downhill casing.

Finally, this tire features the Wide Trail (WT) option, which optimizes tire tread layout and profile on modern, wider rims. Tires with WT work best on 35mm inner rim width, but also perform well on rims from 30-35mm.
