Primeau Vélo will now be able to serve its Québec City customers directly in store, thanks to its merger with cycling retailer Sport Olympe.

Primeau Vélo will start serving its Québec City customers directly in store starting october 4th, after having acquired the Sport Olympe franchise.
The three Sport Olympe retail locations in Beauport, L’Ancienne-Lorette and Lévis will integrate into the Primeau Vélo family. This fusion will deliver a wider selection of products and facilitate online transactions to Sport Olympe customers, all while preserving the superior customer service they are used to. The Sport Olympe direction and personnel will remain in place in the Québec stores and the existing affiliations to cycling clubs will be taken on by Primeau Vélo.

Primeau Vélo is a family business founded in 1928 by Lucien Primeau. For multiple decades, his sons André and Pierre continued the family tradition by opening stores in Laval and Brossard. In the early 2000s, Éric Primeau, son of André, acquired the company now called Primeau Vélo, pushing the cycling tradition into a third family generation.
