The ride to the ski resort of Summerhaven and the very top of Mount Lemmon, just outside Tucson, is a breath taking 47 km adventure that starts in the desert and leads you to the pine forest at the top. The 34 km ride to the top of Mount Graham is widely considered the toughest climb in the state. As soon as the road bends, you are into serious climbing on steady grades. The views down to the flat desert below are absolutely spectacular.
