The Kinetic R1 Smart trainer is the only direct drive trainer that allows your bike to move freely. The goal is to offer a more realistic ride in order to create a more immersive experience. A massive flywheel provides a very realistic pedaling feel while also remaining silent. The resistance is controlled via a third-party app and offers a maximum of 2000 watts, sure to allow you to train as hard as you possibly can. You'll need to buy a cassette on which to install your bike. Shimano and SRAM are compatible, but unfortunately not Campagnolo for the time being.
Thanks to clever axle compatibility, you can install pretty much any bike on the Kinetic R1 trainer, wheather it's a road or mountain bike, with disc or rim brakes, with thru-axles or quick-releases. Simply put your bike on the trainer, connect it to the training app of your choice and you're good to go. Power readings are pretty precise at +/-3%.

Kinetic trainers are compatible with virtually all bikes. Bikes with a rear thru-axle will require a Kinetic Traxle thru-axle adapter for use on any trainer.
