Current trends are oriented towards short and wide nosed saddles. This shape accommodates more aggressive and aerodynamic positions. Having the wider nose opens more seating positions, notably being comfortable on the very tip of the saddle. This is especially good for anyone using their road bike with aero extensions or someone riding in the drops for a long period of time. The Pro version has carbon rails, which means decreased weight and increased comfort. That being said, take note that you might have to change your seat post saddle clamp if this is your first carbon saddle.
