Unlike many other kids’ bike, the Xenon uses a real Shimano groupset for adults. Since the interns of the shifters are much better quality, they are way easier to use and they allow you to control both the gears and the brakes without having to move you hand. Provided their hands are big enough to use them, the Shimano shifters ensure better control of the bike, while being more comfortable than comparable products.
While the Xenon is popular amongst kids because they like the way it looks and the better components, parents like it for its robust build and great durability because, as they’re about to find out, race season really puts a bike to the test.
